Embee has teamed up with some of Berlin’s top jazz musicians—Petter Eldh (Koma Saxo), Otis Sandsjö (Y-Otis), and the piano virtuoso Fabian Kallerdahl (Musicmusicmusic)—to create and record new material inspired by the mood and atmosphere of his debut album “Tellings from Solitaria”
The new project serves as a retrospective of the debut, which was originally released exactly 20 years ago. Much like its predecessor, the album blends elements of jazz, indie-R&B, ambient, and instrumental hip-hop, with guest vocals by Anna Ahnlund (Dina Ögon) and Embee’s long-time collaborator Ayla.
In addition to the new album we have also filled the shelves with a vinyl reissue of “Tellings From Solitaria”.
