After last year’s success in Europe with the album Good Things, which was nominated for a Grammy in their native Sweden, Looptroop Rockers are now taking aim at the US. In mid August the album was released across the pond in cooperation with Sidecho Records and with distribution by EMI. The response so far has been nothing but positive and this fall the group will tour the US as one of the few European hiphop acts to ever tour the country where the genre was born. With their explosive live show LTR have accumulated a loyal fan base all over the world and have toured Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa on numerous occasions. Now the time has come to add another continent to the list and win over the American crowd once and for all. Together with their buddies in CunninLynguists they will lay siege on up towards 30 cities, starting in Atlanta on November 10th. After that they will slalom across the map with stops everywhere from Steamboat Springs to Los Angeles. It will almost be Christmas before Embee, Supreme and Promoe return home and after a short break they then intend to start recording their next full length. These are the dates so far (more will be added):
